Yes, this has an Expedition-quality fully-adjustable frame, breathable fabric in the contact zone with your back, extra-long waist-belt straps, extra compression straps, duraflex plastic buckles,so it will not break easily, SOLID side pockets, instead of mesh, which will stretch out of shape, detachable fanny pack, waterproof seams/zippers, built-in hydration system (bladder not included), 1000 Denier Kordura bottom plate, rip stop fabrics throughout, emergency rain ponchos for the pack and packer, and MANY more features. This weighs only 5.40 pounds but expands to 6,000 cubic inches ! The weight load transfers to the wide, heavily padded hip belt, so the fatigue is mitigated. This is as good as it gets.
