5 out of 5 stars I use mine everyday   April 14, 2008

I bought my pouch two years ago and like it so much that I use it everyday instead of carrying a bulky purse or wallet. Money, credit cards, and other small items (eyedrops, chapstick, etc.) are always within hand's reach, making it much more convenient than a wallet. After two years of constant use, it's held up extraordinarily well. The only issue is the velcro is starting to get a little "soft" and doesn't seal as well as it used to.

Required for every traveler.

Hidden neck and chest pouches aren't always so hidden, but this is the best one I've used.

For the uninitiated, this works by wearing around your neck over your chest and hanging the strap around your neck.

This really requires a bloushed or untucked shirt, or closed jacket because the chest pouch will create a silhouette after you insert any items of substance.

The wallet is made of polyester and nylon for their abilities to resist perspiration, the hypoallergenic contact surface can become warm but not necessarily uncomfortable. The zipper is plastic nylon and the zipper pull is non-ferric, likely aluminum. The wallet doesn't have metal so it slips through airport metal detectors but IT WON'T KEEP THE ITEMS FROM BEING DETECTED so wannabe smugglers need to use something else.

With all of the miles I've traveled and checkpoints I've gone through, Eagle Creek concealed pouches and wallets are the best, always recommended.

5 out of 5 stars I Modified Mine and Love It!   January 26, 2010

I travel internationally quite a bit. I bought one of these before a 23-day trip to Europe and have used it ever since. I cut the straps off and turn it sideways inside my bra. The backing is soft and comfortable. I keep my passport, a credit card, and most of my currency in it. I also carry a lightweight shoulder purse or fanny pack with guidebook, camera, makeup, and some cash. If I were robbed I would not lose much. On that European trip, one lady in our party had her purse snatched, so I know theft is a real worry!

5 out of 5 stars Eagle Undercover Neck Pouch   February 4, 2010

I didn't like it at first. I wanted a trifold neck wallet so I sewed some velcro to the back side material and found that the material is very tough and not easy to sew at all. It's a lot tougher than it looks. The neck sash seems flimsy but it's pretty strong also and pretty well attached to the body of the wallet. I can now fold the lower 1/3 part up so it holds on the itself making an "S" shape. It's only half as big as it was before and not that much thicker.

By making it a trifold, the pockets are now closed (folded shut) and the change and other stuff doesn't fall out plus it fits right under my arm when worn over the head and one shoulder. The bills fit nicely, too. My credit cards and driver's license fit in the zippered front flap and receipts fit nicely in the netted pouch.

I really like it and it's perfect for skiing and sports use.

I give it 5 stars as a tri-fold wallet. Only 3 stars as a pouch.

5 out of 5 stars travel neck pouchIt worked exactly   July 11, 2009

The pouch was exactly what I was looking for and worked exactly like I needed it to work. The neck strap was, perhaps a wee bit long, it kept sliding down my arm, but otherwise, the pouch was just fine.
